Split-screen support was added after many network design decisions and implementations were already made and it's simply not possible for us to rewrite and update. Thank you for writing Gearbox with your comments! Unfortunately, it is a technical limitation, not a design choice, that prevents us from bringing a split-screen experience online in any way - even via local network. In the System Link Support thread, you can see a response from Gearbox stating the following: On their official forums, there are 2 petition threads, one for System Link Support and one for Online Support that you can keep an eye on. Gearbox has stated that it is due to technical limitation, and they do not plan on patching it in the future.

I don't have a single mod installed anymore, and I can't even play the game.Currently (October 2010), there is no support for 2 people running Splitscreen multiplayer to play with others online or via system link (locally). PAK file and had a look through the assets to find that not one of the filepaths listed in my error config actually had the recipe that folder was supposed to have. How do I remove the FU crafting recipes from the game now that the mod's been unsubbed?ĮDIT: I also took the time to unsub from every mod and remove any manually-added mods from te game as well.

I've looked up other places for how to fix the No Such Item error, but I've tried almost all of them, and reinstalling FU is the opposite of what I'm trying to do right now. So I completely uninstalled the game and did a fresh download, and despite doing a complete and total uninstall and reinstall, my log shows that it still includes the FU recipes and such. I deleted the Universe and Player data, reloaded the game, and got the crash when I tried to use the Inventor's Table.

I'm uninstalling FU so I can play a game with a couple of mods that had some compatibility issues. Apparently their FU compatibility was actually FU dependency. After resubbing one-by-one, the Starbound Awakens mod was the culprit. So, the other mods I had from Steam Workshop still had files lying around in teh workshop folder, and although none of them were FU extensions (I made sure to remove all of those), I deleted them on a whim, and the game works fine.
